Translucero's Season of the Faeries

During the months of January through March, a new celebration takes place among the translucero culture. The winter months can sometimes bring hard cold winters which may have prevented successful agricultural production. Since their predominant diet is vegetarian, transluceros look forward to the spring months to increase and make up for lost production of natural foods brought about by frozen ground. New production calls for celebration and the spring represents new growth over the land. However, the transluceros believe that there are other wordly unseen beings that assist them with their goals and come out during the spring, they are called faeries. A fairy is a supernatural unseen (though some claim they have seen them materialize) being that takes care of mother earth and her land, specifically caring for the growth of foods, plants, flowers, and small herbivore insects. It is believed that during the harsh winter months, the faeries flee deep into the earth to hibernate, but once the winter thaws after January, they reemerge to resume their work with the land. The transluceros believe that the faeries also supply knowledge and impart wisdom telepathically to farmers to help them bring successful crops. Therefore, January through March is called “Season of the Faeries.” The season prepares for the real celebration that takes place on the last day of March, referred to as “Day of the Faeries.” The season is celebrated as a way to wake up the hibernating faeries. The faeries are thought to be benevolent and are believed to be awakened by happy cheers of celebration. It is also believed that faeries are attracted to bright colors and lights, so the town and homes are often decorated by bright colors of streamers and colorful bright lights. Season of the Faeries is about bringing the unseen world into the material world, to help with the seen world, for this reason it’s thought of as a ritual of reversal. Symbolically, transluceros will also bring a statue of a fairy and display it in their front yard to bring vegetation around their homes. Others will bring a statue inside their homes auspiciously to symbolize the bringing of a fruitful beginning to the family. On the Day of the Faeries, March 31st, a big celebration takes place all around. It may take place at people’s homes, in a town square, or any location people wish to celebrate. Typically it occurs in a forested area since this is where it is believed that faeries live. This day it is believed that all the faeries have awakened and are set out to help the transluceros with a fruitful year. (photoby:http://www.hearthavencottage.com/gallery.asp?nam=outside ) Participants are necessary for successful festivities. Many dress up in fairy costume. When Season of the Faeries was first celebrated, it only included fairy-like costumes, but as the celebrations evolved, it began to include costumes from all mythologies and historical religions that are believed to have helped the evolution of man and transluceros. Since the season is about bringing the unseen world into the material world, many participants wear costumes depicting various gods and goddesses, spirit-like characters, and prophets. For example, some may dress up in a costume representing a Greek god like Zeus or Greek goddess Athena, or perhaps a Hindu God like Ganesh. Since faeries are thought to be very small in size, typically the size of a hand or finger, participants will wear bells on their ankles or feet so the faeries will hear them walking by and not get stepped on, as per belief. Harvest is the not the only reason one participates in Fairy Day. Some believe that asking the faeries to help you with life problems will bring answers. Perhaps participants want to improve their health, relationships, finances, and any other concerns, it is believed that the faeries will help. At these celebrations, participants will often invoke fairy communication through the fairy dance. This dance, alongside acoustic music from flutes and guitars, are thought to be enjoyed by the faeries. It is also a dance of gratitude from the transluceros to the faeries for their yearly support with their crops and problems. Participants think that the longer you dance, the more help you will receive from the faeries. Thus, it’s not unusual to see participants dancing throughout the day and into the night until the festivities end. Other types of music may be played for entertainment value, but the dances here are not sacred like the fairy dance. There is serving and selling of all kinds of food and items to promote better agriculture. The celebration resist normal culture by acknowledging unseen beings and attempting to blend in with them by wearing costume. However, there are transluceros that don’t participate in the event because they believe that inauthentic participants could actually upset the faeries and prevent a successful harvest. This is especially so since the celebration can be exacerbated by over consumption of food and spirits, making one ill. Some also believe that wearing fairy costumes actually mocks the faeries which can cause negative consequences. Though there may be a split between costume wearers and those normally dressed, they both agree that harmony among all is what the faeries really want, and so there no open disagreements at the celebration. There are also political aspects tied into the Season. If agriculture improves, the economy goes up. It may be seen by politicians as an effect caused by the celebration, therefore, the government puts aside funds to support next year’s Day of the Faeries. The better the funding, the better the celebration, thus economy improves. Paradoxically, there are those that do not participate in the season because they have strong practice in self-empowerment. Their self-empowerment teaches them that the quality of work you put in life, the quality you get out of life, no matter whether faeries or other unseen entities exist. This is how transluceros are raised and brought up, so it’s hard to determine whether participants do this for fun or if they really believe they are being helped. Nonetheless, Season of the Faeries and Fairy Day continue to be an anticipated time of the year for the transluceros. Translucero: Rituals and Rites of Passage

Though highly evolved, the transluceros do participate in rituals and rites of passage much like we do today. They’ve created rituals for the institutions of religion, marriage, family/kinship, and government. Symbolism and rites of passage are important representatives of their beliefs and are commonly seen practiced during the life cycles of birth, coming of age, marriage, and death. Religion: The Self-Empowerment Altar Since there are no churches and transluceros do not participate in mainstream religion as we do today, their self-empowerment and spiritual inner growth is nonetheless very important. When a translucero is ready to organize, take responsibility, and empower their lives, they self- ritualize through the creation of an altar. This happens any time after puberty. Some create it at an early age of 12, or as late as 20-30’s. The first altar is very important and is much celebrated among the family. The translucero picks a certain area within their home to place the altar in which there will be privacy. Here they display their affirmations and short and/or long-term life goals. Various herbs, plants, precious stones, metals, candles, and other items are arranged on the altar and each item represents a different intention. A Wise One, a person who is an expert on Empowerment Altars, is often consulted for proper arrangement and practice. The translucero’s first altar is often celebrated by their family and friends with a party. Here they are given gifts that the translucero can place on the altar. While altars are common but unnecessary for spiritual growth, the first altar is the only one celebrated with a party and gifts. Marriage: Sexuality Since there is no marriage in translucero society, there is also no divorce. However, they do engage in relationships which are homo, hetero, bisexual, monogamous or polygamous. Sexual engagement is not animalistic as in today’s society, nor is it just a reason to procreate. It is much more serious and is considered to be a synergistic energetic exchange (sex). They believe that in sexual intimacy there is actual energy being exchanged at the same time, taking in one’s energy into yourself can assist your evolvement, but can also deter or decrease it, therefore this practice is much more sacred than early humans have regarded it. Sex is believed to bring in higher intelligence and advanced states of consciousness, therefore, the loss of virginity for males and females is often celebrated by their same-sex family members and friends with a small party or night out. Loss of virginity is indicated when the translucero feels they are personally ready and is not frowned upon by society as a dirty act. This can happen as early as 13 years of age, depending on the maturity level of the individual. The way sexual energy is used is an ongoing life journey and may happen with as few with or as many partners as desired. Family and Kinship: The Family Tree When a family forms as a unit together, as signified by living under a single household dwelling place, there is a ritual used to symbolize their unity. A large tree is planted near their home. For every new family member that joins the household, a smaller type tree is planted around the main larger tree. The tree symbolizes long term growth, solidity, nature, and its branches signify new family potentials. The higher toward the sky the tree reaches, the stronger the family unit becomes. It is not uncommon for some older homes to be surrounded by forest like vegetation previously planted by the many family lineages that have lived in that home. When a home has a newly planted tree outside it, it lets the community know that the family is a fairly new unit and may require some assistance or direction from older more solid families. This is how community signals to each other whether their family is young or old. On the other hand, a diseased tree can become an omen to the family predicting undesirable futures or ill health. This may cause the family to move to a new location or seek a Wise One, an expert on such matters, for advice. Government: Voting Ritual A wise, highly evolved translucero is voted as President for each land mass nation. The voting is not done under an individual basis, but each one vote is per family. Times of election are every 3 years, 3 chosen for mind/body/spirit trinity in which the elected official is thought to have enhanced his own trinity in 3 years as well as his nations’ trinity. During election, the family gathers together and spends 3 days discussing who they believe should be the next representative of their land mass. Of course, more things are discussed during the 3 days and it is often seen as a holiday for the people to gather with family and enjoy themselves. The family comes to an agreement together. The family then lights a torch in front of their home to let the community know that they have made a decision. The torch represents family enlightenment and cohesion. A government representative then comes to the home to pick up the official paper vote to submit. If the family does not come to a vote by a particular deadline or fails to light the torch, their vote is not submitted. Often, if there is dysfunction in the family, they may not be wise enough to share in the vote anyway. Birth: For the transluceros, birth is not celebrated when the newborn leaves the womb, but when the life enters it. As soon as a woman becomes pregnant, this is birth. It is the birth of the new life force into the earthly physical plane. As soon as there is a confirmation of heart rate and movement, this is the translucero’s date of birth. This can be as early as 3 to 6 weeks gestation. There is an immediate celebration for the mother and father. Similar to what we know as a baby shower today, it is actually a birth shower. Gifts received are not for the new child, but they are gifts for the new parents, mainly as advice or wisdom passed down on how to be the best parent and best example for the newly emerging translucero. There is also still a celebration for those parents that choose artificial gestation and genetic modification in the lab as well. Coming of Age: Transluceros have much belief in numerology and view the number 7 to be very auspicious marking the way to greater enlightenment and expanded consciousness. For those who are able to afford this coming of age ritual, or for those who have received scholarship for it, once the child turns 7, they are removed from their homes (separation) and sent to the House of Wisdom. Here they learn about translucero history and partake in esoteric lessons. Prior to graduating, which must be done within their 7th year and prior to their 8th birthday, they must be fluent in 7 languages, learn 7 major philosophies, 7 major old world religions, as well as prove achievement in one of the arts. The learning is intense (liminality) and may include fasting, vows of silence, and periods of seclusion (separation within separation) from others for writing and self-reflection. They are often bonded with other 7 year olds undergoing the same education (communitas). Graduation during the 7th year is important and much celebrated since it also a reflection of parental teaching and parental preparation up to the age of 7. Once they graduate, they return to their families, all the wiser, with much respect and celebration (reincorporation). Marriage: Relationship Union Though transluceros do not believe in what we know as marriage, they do hold high honor for all relationships. A Ceremony of Union within relationships is common. These union ceremonies are officiated by a Wise One per each person. For example, if 2 best friends want to strengthen their relationship or give public gratitude sharing each other’s life, then they may request this type of ceremony. They each consult a Wise One to discuss their future relationship goals, usually longevity, peace and harmony with each other. They then first must live together for 7 days to learn more about each other (separation and liminality), unless they already do. Once the 7 days is complete, they choose whether to proceed with the ceremony. The ceremony includes the drawing of a triangle, on the ground of nature, which is large enough to include all those participating. Sometimes large families, people and their pets, best friends, or even business partners can go through this ritual. Once in the triangle (communitas), which represents the entering of promises through the trinity of body/mind/spirit, each being confesses its gratitude for the others and expresses its individual promises of honesty, unconditional love, and other chosen virtues to each other. The Wise Ones then officiate and bless the triangle and its habitants as they are undergoing spiritual union. A song or music is played ending the ceremony. Then the inhabitants begin to dissolve or smear the triangle outline together until it disappears. To make it more sacred, it may include flowers, plants, candles for night, background music for daytime, or even fireworks after. Then all participants return to their everyday lives (reincorporation) with a sense of sacred union and trust with those. Death: Back to Nature Transluceros believe that they are one with nature. They believe that their physical bodies are supported by the earth, borrowed from and in fact belong to the earth. For this reason, death of the physical body is to be returned to earthly soil or water. Releasing your body back to earth signifies that your immaterial body can continue to its next incarnation or evolution. There is not a funeral, but a Celebration of Life gathering or dinner. Usually an elaborate, or in some cases simple, party is held in honor of the deceased. Pictures are displayed, videos or film are shown, speeches or talks are given by loved ones explaining their gratitude toward the departed. The Celebration is also a celebration for the entrance into the non-physical spiritual dimension. Participants may also include mediums or psychics which try to contact the departed for affirmation that they are well. Then, the immediate family or close relatives, and a Wise One, relinquish the body back to nature by releasing into the deep ocean, or burying the naked body deep in the ground. The Wise One or family elder may say a poem or a small speech thanking mother earth for supporting the departed and accepting him/her back into her embrace. Ritualizing: Transluceros trust in nature and often perform self-empowerment rituals using various flowers, plants, seeds, dirt, sand, stones, etc. As a ritual for restoring youth, some transluceros will eat baby produce and plants as a way of bringing in the young into their bodies. They eat foods like baby carrots, baby bananas, baby spinach, etc. Another form of ritualizing is keeping a dream diary. Transluceros believe that all dreams are important and provide additional meaning to their lives or may even be prophetic messages. They often keep a diary to learn to decipher these messages in order to improve their lives. Transluceros also believe that messages from deceased loved ones can come through a visit in their dream. Dreams are rarely dismissed as imagination or meaningless sleep. Dream journals are often kept in a private place or ritualized on their altar.

Introduction

The year is 3000A.D. on planet Earth and homo sapiens have undergone successful evolution and survival into what is now known as homo translucero. The word translucero is adopted from the word translucent, primarily for the translucent thin skin appearance of the people. One can actually see bones structures, blood vessel coloring, and organ outlines through the thin, though tough, epidermis layer. Though some skins may have natural pigment to them, they are still very translucent which lends to the evolved understanding that ‘all are the same color underneath.’ Another notable characteristic and the most important is that you are also able to see their auric energy fields, as traditioned from yoga philosophy and hinduism. The different colors from the base of the spine to the top of the center of the head emanate at different intensities and rotations. Each color is visibly seen at varying degrees in each person and can signify health, illness, and development level in what they consider to be seven different aspects of life which correspond to the body. This can also be a form of visible communication amongst each other. The main form of communication is mental telepathy. The children are born with it and the adults have excelled at it. As children grow up they continue to practice and learn various telepathic techniques from family and school. However, this type of communication is only effective if the translucero is in a healthy state because disease and low energy can block telepathic abilities from being received and sent. In this case, the person refers back to vocal language and usually each person has studied and is fluent in an average of 10 global languages, therefore communication is never an issue. The diet of the homo transluceros is mostly vegetarian and fish. No land animals are ever eaten, though eggs and milk are still occasionally consumed. Diseases once rampant during the 21st century have become extinct or easily managed. Advanced study and research has eliminated dangerous food contaminants, caustic electro-magnetic fields, and unhealthy microwaves from man’s environment leading to better and healthier bodies in the transluceros. Longevity has increased to an average age of 120 years, with the physical appearance of no more than 60 to 70 years of age. Gestation of the fetus is no longer 40 weeks but has decreased to 35-37 weeks due to the increase of growth hormones secondary to better health. Religion: Although the transluceros are aware of earth’s history of world religions, they are now seen as archaic, primitive, and yet interesting. Each person recognizes themselves has an immaterial substance that occupies matter (the body) in order to experience a material world. They believe that being an evolved human is part of an intimate requirement to know the immaterial eternal self on a deeper level. Philosophy, enlightenment, and spirituality are at the core of how they understand themselves and every day is seen as a new lesson. Previous religions, as those practiced during the 21st century, are displayed in museums and in fact are often seen as deterrents to peace, progress, love, and longevity. Especially since it is now recognized that the emotion of fear is a major mental limitation that once prevented human evolution. There are no churches since spirituality is a personal journey one is always on. The transluceros, being telepathic, can communicate with beings from other dimensions, planes or universes. They may refer to these beings as alien or even angelic. Marriage: For the transluceros, there is no marriage as the 21st century earth knows it. They believe that love transcends paperwork. Love is a sacred bond between 2 or more people in which no one can possess another. They also understand that all relationships are temporary and that the only way to live is in the present moment. It’s difficult for a translucero to tell another that they are going to be with them forever, especially when they are continuously evolving in a personal way. For these reasons there is no marriage and no divorce. This does not mean that people do not maintain relationships for years because they often do. They just believe that intimate relationships, monogamous or polygamous, are for inner growth. If they no longer feel this growth, the relationship naturally separates and is often continued into a friendship. The extinction of marriage has helped these evolved humans have better friendships and decrease incidents of hate and even murder. Family and Kinship: Since there is no marriage, people often choose a person to procreate with. This person may or may not be the parent of one or more of their children. As was in the early 21st century, this is not frowned upon, but has the ability to promote larger familial alliances. Instead of a sibling having one brother or sister, they often have several, and are as close with their half siblings as they are with the others. Even more interestingly, parents do not view themselves as dominant over children, but as equals. Parents recognize that they learn much about themselves through their children as children do from their parents. Children’s rights are equal to adults, and if uncomfortable with their parents, may petition to be moved to another more compatible family of their choosing. For these reasons, there is much better respect and love amongst families. Government Land masses have shifted slightly since the 21st century. Most countries have deconstructed and have come together as a single land mass nation. For example, there’s no longer a Canada, Mexico, and USA, it is now known as North America. Each land mass leaders are hired under democratic fashion and all are part of the Global United Foundation which promotes unity, sustainability, and international support for all beings. While there are disputes with resolutions, there have not been any wars since the late 21st century. SYMBOLISM: Homo Translucero Unity symbol The symbol recognizes and promotes human evolution on earth. The transluceros are highly evolved in mathematics and geometry which are central to their learning and high intellectual abilities. The wings represent compassion, freedom, and open heart which is a characteristic that brings them evolved mental clarity. (photo by http://ascension-temple.com/what-is-ascension.html) Global United Foundation government symbol The circles represent each major land mass nation. The equality sign in the middle support the foundations view and promises of balance, with the center arrows pointing toward the nations. The different colors representing the different color skin pigments and the center heart shows community and love for each other. (photo by http://www.vectorstock.com/royalty-free-vector/symbol-of-a-happy-family-vector-6) Religious symbol Although the transluceros do not formally have a religion per say, it is often that some may create alters of self-empowerment at home. This symbol is often noted to be one that represents the balance ( representing the single bar at the bottom of the triangle) between mind, physical body, and immaterial substance/spirit (as noted by the three equal sides of the triangle). The black and white colors denote the two opposing energies of high and low or evolved and unevolved.
